Tyler Deleskiewicz brings a power arm and pro-level upside to NIU’s bullpen
In the 2026 season, Tyler Deleskiewicz is a senior right-handed pitcher for Northern Illinois at 6-foot-5, 240 pounds, and his appeal is the loud fastball and upside that have drawn pro attention; one source noted his heater at 92-94 mph and described him as a potential difference-maker if his consistency tightens up.[14][15] NIU’s 2026 stats page lists him as an active arm for the Huskies, while team coverage showed he was honored on Senior Day, signaling a veteran presence in the program.[6][11][12] The fit is simple: if your staff wants a big-bodied strike-thrower with power stuff and room to keep trending up, he’s the kind of arm that can get interesting in a hurry.[15]
