Acoydan McCarthy is a long, rangy Spanish guard with pro-style pedigree
McCarthy brings a 6-foot-6 guard frame, Spanish national-team experience, and a Real Madrid junior background that makes him more intriguing than a box score alone suggests. In his Austin Peay bio, he was described as a rangy guard who had averaged 3.1 points and 1.3 assists in his final Real Madrid junior season, with added reps in FIBA competition for Spain at the U16 and U17 levels. That kind of size-plus-skill profile screams versatility, but his value is really in upside, perimeter feel, and international experience—nice fit for a program betting on development and patience.
