Easton Masse is a rising Boston College catcher whose bat and rehab year could make him a sneaky 2027 breakout
In the 2026 season, Easton Masse appeared sparingly for Boston College, going 0-for-4 in limited action, but he regained traction with a strong summer in the Appalachian League, hitting .327 with a .446 OBP in 15 games for Pulaski. Boston College’s roster lists him as a sophomore catcher, 5-foot-11, 190 pounds, and reports from BC coverage note he spent much of the college season battling injuries before getting healthy. The appeal here is upside: a once-highly touted prep catcher with good contact ability, a captain’s résumé, and enough toughness to stay in the catching mix next season.
