Mercyhurst RHP Logan Cherepko brings local polish and upside to the Lakers
A 6-foot-1 senior right-hander from Elizabeth, Pa., Logan Cherepko gives Mercyhurst a homegrown arm with a sturdy baseball background and captain-level experience from Elizabeth Forward, which can matter as much as radar-gun chatter when you need a steady competitor. The clearest current data point is roster-only information showing he was with the program in 2026 and had not appeared in 2024, so the intrigue is more about projection and fit than stat-line sizzle. His value profile leans toward a hard-nosed, team-first pitcher who could be a smart fit for a staff that prizes developmental upside and local reliability.
