veteran Sam Houston guard with a sharpshooter’s résumé and clutch DNA
In the 2016-17 season, Dakarai Henderson was Sam Houston’s senior scoring leader at 10.7 points per game and finished his Bearkats career with 1,325 points, plus school-record marks for career 3-pointers made (238) and attempts (703). He wasn’t just a volume gunner either—he shot 58.7% from the field that season, which hints at a guard who could punish closeouts, finish through contact, and deliver in big moments. The best fit for a team? A trustworthy, experienced perimeter scorer with a proven clutch streak and a reputation for bringing offense when the pressure spikes.
