Sydney Savatt brings contact, versatility, and middle-infield edge to Rider
In the 2026 season, Sydney Savatt was a middle-infield option for Rider and saw action as a freshman, including a key sacrifice fly in a late-April game for the Broncs. Her profile suggests a gritty, team-first utility piece rather than a loud stat-sheet star: dependable enough to earn innings, willing to do the little things, and valuable in pressure spots. For a program looking for a steady, coachable infielder who can help win ugly and keep the lineup moving, she looks like a solid fit.
