Kam Herring brings shooting touch and early upside to Marquette’s backcourt
Kam Herring, a 6-1 freshman guard for Marquette, flashed a perimeter weapon in her debut season, hitting 31.6% from three and making a three-pointer in five games while also contributing a steal in her first appearance.[2] Her high-school résumé suggests real long-term value: she was a 1,000-point scorer, a two-time offensive player award winner, and once knocked down 74 threes in a season, but a senior-year knee injury makes her a player whose best fit is with a staff willing to develop her strength, pace, and health upside.[2]
