Damian Ruiz was Arkansas’ on-base machine in 2026
In the 2026 season, Damian Ruiz became Arkansas’ leadoff spark plug, hitting .309 with a .442 on-base percentage, 5 home runs, 30 RBI, 35 walks, 12 hit-by-pitches, and 16 stolen bases in 54 games. He stood out for elite plate discipline, disruptive speed, and the ability to keep innings alive; he also posted a 22-game on-base streak and was hit by pitches at a team-high rate, which hints at real edge and toughness. That profile says “instant table-setter” for any lineup—high-contact, high-IQ, pressure creator, and a strong fit if you want chaos at the top.
