In the 2025 season, Cooper Wilson entered Nevada as a rangy 6-foot-2, 186-pound defensive back with real two-way pedigree, having played both wide receiver and DB in high school and won Washington’s Class 3A 100-meter title. Nevada’s roster and transfer coverage describe him as a former Nebraska walk-on who did not appear in a game there, so the biggest draw is projection: speed, length, and a competitive background that can translate into special teams and sub-package value if his technique catches up.
