Long, athletic Rutgers LB with untapped upside and a relentless motor
Sam Gadie is a former Rutgers linebacker whose biggest calling card has been upside: at 6-foot-3 and about 215 pounds, he brought a versatile high-school résumé as an edge, linebacker, and defensive back, with over 70 tackles, eight sacks, and three interceptions as a senior at Trenton Central in 2021. He did not see game action across his Rutgers years, so the appeal is more projection than production, but his frame, multi-position background, and physicality suggest a developmental defender who could fit a staff looking for length, special-teams potential, and aggression over polish.
