SDSU's Elite Shooting Big with Academic Pedigree
Matt Dentlinger, a 6'7" forward for South Dakota State, wrapped his Jackrabbits career in 2022-23 averaging 8.4 points and 4.1 rebounds on scorching 60.8% FG shooting, peaking at 12.2 PPG and 6.0 RPG (second-team All-Summit League) in 2019-20 and 63.7% FG in 2020-21. Now an undrafted 2023 NBA free agent pursuing a master's in engineering, he's a true student-athlete differentiator—reliable, high-motor big who thrives in mid-major systems with double-digit scoring streaks and 75% FG bursts. Perfect G-League or overseas fit for teams needing efficient, cerebral frontcourt depth without injury red flags.
