Big-framed Hornets righty with JUCO reps and upside
Kirk Stensrud enters Alabama State in 2026 as a 6-foot-4, 225-pound junior RHP/1B who brings real collegiate mileage from Lackawanna and Chattahoochee Valley, including 14 relief outings at Lackawanna in 2024 with a 2-0 record, 24 strikeouts, and 27 walks over 27 innings. The appeal is the body and two-way flexibility: he has enough size to project as a physical arm or corner bat, and his JUCO path suggests a grinder who has earned his way onto a Division I roster. The eye test says upside; the stat line says control still needs sharpening.
