Kennedy Smith is USC’s two-way glue guard with star upside
Kennedy Smith was a high-impact freshman at USC in 2024-25, averaging 9.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.2 steals and 0.7 blocks while starting all 28 games, and she followed that with a bigger 2025-26 role that produced 11.5 points, 3.6 assists and 1.9 steals per game.[4][5] What separates her is the blend of on-ball defense, playmaking and size for a guard, plus a reputation for hustle and timely scoring; she also showed stretch value and impact versatility in big games, including a 20-point, six-block outing.[10][12][13]
