Early UAB spark with hit-for-average upside and steady on-base tools
Flammia has quickly shown she can help UAB by putting the ball in play, reaching base, and giving the Blazers a reliable infield bat in her 2026 season. In 2026, she hit .235 with 31 hits, 20 RBI, and a .360 OBP, and UAB noted she delivered a 2-for-2 game with two walks and reached base four times for the first time in her career. She brings a winning pedigree from Pisgah, where she was a four-time All-State selection and the 2A Hitter of the Year in 2024, making her a solid fit for a team that wants toughness, contact, and competitive juice.
