Quinn Larson brings power-arm upside and big-league vibes to Cal’s bullpen
Quinn Larson is a 6-foot-5, 225-pound right-hander who already flashes the kind of size-and-velocity package scouts love, with reports from his Gilroy High days noting fastball heat up to 94 mph and strikeout stuff that can overwhelm hitters. In his Cal career through the 2025 season, he posted a 1-0 record with a 4.85 ERA and 18 strikeouts in 13.0 innings across seven appearances and two starts, and he earned 2026 All-ACC Academic Team honors. Why care? He’s a live-arm developmental piece with upside, toughness, and a track record of missing bats; the question for any team is whether they can sharpen the command.
