Former UNI DL with real disruption upside
McDaniels spent three seasons at Northern Iowa with limited action, then transferred to Pitt State, where he turned into a productive defensive lineman in 2025: 22 tackles, 9.0 tackles for loss, 3.0 sacks, two quarterback hurries and a blocked kick in 13 games.[1][4] His fit is about burst, backfield disruption and effort plays more than volume stats; he showed he can wreck plays against top competition, including 2.5 tackles for loss vs. Ferris State and a blocked kick vs. Chadron State.[1] At 6-foot-4 and 262 pounds, he projects as a tough, high-motor lineman with some special-teams value.[3]
