Bronwynn Leighty brings early-career promise and rotation depth to Monmouth
Leighty is a sophomore right-handed pitcher for Monmouth who is still building her college résumé, but her profile shows a pitcher the Hawks are willing to trust in the circle and develop for the long term. In Monmouth’s 2026 stats, she appeared in five games and logged 5.0 innings, giving up 13 hits and 13 earned runs while striking out one batter, which points to a young arm still adjusting to Division I hitters. Her value is less about current dominance and more about upside, roster fit, and coachable development at a position where depth matters.
