Parker Dixon brings size, starter’s experience, and workable bat-missing stuff to Gardner-Webb’s rotation
At 6'4" and 220 pounds, Parker Dixon is a big-bodied right-hander who has logged meaningful starting experience for Gardner-Webb, with a 2025 line of 12 appearances, 10 starts, 36.1 innings, 32 strikeouts and a 6.69 ERA; the upside is his ability to get swings and miss, while the concern is strike-throwing consistency, shown by 28 walks and a 1.82 WHIP. He profiles as a developmental arm with size and competitive stuff, but he fits best for a staff that can help tighten command and unlock more efficient innings.[1][4][5][8]
