Steven Bronson brings a deceptive left-handed look and strikeout pitch mix to Manhattan
Bronson is a left-handed pitcher whose profile is built on deception and pitchability: prep reports show a clean 3/4 delivery, quick pace, late downhill acceleration, an 83–85 mph fastball with arm-side run, and two distinct off-speed looks—a same-plane changeup and a 67–70 mph curveball that generated whiffs and strikeouts[1]. He’s a good fit for a staff that values command, tempo, and matchup value from the left side, though Manhattan’s roster page does not list current college-season stats for him, so his immediate college performance is not publicly quantified there[7].
