Chase Miller gives Occidental a versatile, defense-first forward with senior poise
In the 2025-26 season, Chase Miller has been a low-usage but useful glue guy for Occidental, producing 2.0 points and 2.0 rebounds per game with 2.0 blocks per game and a 25.0% field-goal rate listed on ESPN, while Occidental’s roster notes show he has already flashed 4-for-4 shooting, a 9-rebound game, and 6 blocks across 21 games. His value goes beyond box scores: Occidental reporting says he battled knee and ankle injuries that wiped out his junior year, which makes his return a grit story, and his 6-foot-6 frame plus switchable defense make him a sneaky fit for teams that want toughness, size, and zero drama.
