Zaheer Young brings a rare JUCO-to-Power-Four trench climb to UCLA
Zaheer Young is a 2026 UCLA offensive lineman who arrived with momentum: in the 2025 season at Diablo Valley College, he didn’t allow a sack, earned all-state honors, and helped DVC go 10-2 while converting from defensive line to offensive line—so the upside is real. At 6-foot-5 and 290 pounds, he’s a developmental swing tackle type with toughness, a fast learning curve, and a chip-on-the-shoulder edge that fits a program looking for linemen who can grow into Big Ten-level work.
