Kansas adds a twitchy Kansas City WR with upside, but the résumé is still a work in progress
Jaidyn Doss is a 5-foot-11, 190-pound Kansas City native who transferred to Kansas after spending two seasons at Nebraska, where he logged 2 catches for 20 yards in the 2023 season and no counting stats in 2024. The appeal is developmental upside: he was a once-hyped recruit, has three years of eligibility left, and is expected to play receiver full-time after also dabbling at defensive back. In short, he looks like a fit if your team wants speed, local pride, and a hungry player with runway—less so if you need an instant stat-sheet bulldozer.
