Ishuana Hunter brings size, toughness, and proven scoring upside to Manhattan
Hunter is a 6-0 senior forward who arrived at Manhattan with a strong Division II résumé and immediate-impact expectations after averaging 11.0 points and a team-best 39 steals in the 2024-25 season at Eastern New Mexico, while earning All-Lone Star Conference Second Team honors. She’s a physical, athletic frontcourt player who has shown she can score efficiently enough to matter, defend with activity, and handle real responsibility. Early Manhattan production has been modest in the 2025-26 season, but her track record says she can be a low-drama, high-energy add for a team needing length, competitiveness, and two-way punch.
