Gavin Jacobsen brings proven left-handed strikeout ability from Loyola Marymount
Jacobsen’s clearest value is his left-handed arm and a history of missing bats: in the 2022 season at Bemidji State, he went 3-2 with a 6.26 ERA and 31 strikeouts in 27.1 innings across eight appearances, including a season-high eight strikeouts against North Central. He profiles as a competitive LHP with starter experience and a team-first reputation, which is reinforced by his Loyola Marymount student-athlete background. For a staff looking for a versatile lefty with some swing-and-miss upside, he’s the kind of arm worth tracking.
