Oregon’s 6-5, 300-pound interior enforcer adds experienced depth
Derrick Brown Jr. is a big, seasoned run-stopper who brings rare length, power, and rotation-ready experience to Oregon’s defensive front. In 2025 at Howard, he played all 12 games and posted 23 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks after showing steady growth in 2024 with 25 tackles and 1 sack; Oregon brought him in as a redshirt senior transfer to deepen a loaded DL room. The fit is strong if you want a disciplined, physical interior piece who can hold the point and eat snaps without needing the spotlight.
