Jomaru Brown brings veteran scoring touch and disruptive defense to Coastal Carolina
Jomaru Brown is a proven, high-minute guard for Coastal Carolina whose best traits are shot creation, free-throw reliability, and defensive activity; in the 2022-23 season he averaged 12.7 points, shot 92.9% at the line, and ranked among the Sun Belt leaders in steals at 1.6 per game[1][4]. His earlier peak came in the 2019-20 season, when he posted 18.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.7 assists, showing he can carry offense when needed[1]. The fit is clear if a team wants an experienced, scrappy guard who impacts games beyond scoring, though his field-goal and three-point efficiency have been mixed[1][2].
