RJ Jackson Jr. looks like a sturdy, starting-caliber Big 12 anchor with real disruption upside
In the 2025 season, RJ Jackson Jr. earned All-Big 12 Honorable Mention for UCF after starting 11 of 12 games and posting 33 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and two pass breakups. He’s a 6-foot-3, 310-pound interior defender who gives the Knights consistency, leverage, and enough juice to bother quarterbacks without needing to be a full-time penetrator. The toe injury he dealt with in spring 2026 is worth monitoring, but when healthy he profiles as a dependable, physical DT who fits a defense needing grown-man snaps inside.
