Mercyhurst’s Cameron Johnson brings scoring bursts and tough-hat energy on the wing
In the 2025-26 season, Cameron Johnson has been a useful forward for Mercyhurst, with ESPN listing him at 6'5", 200 pounds and the team’s stats page showing him as one of the Lakers’ regular rotation pieces. He flashed real impact in Mercyhurst’s NEC Tournament win over Stonehill, scoring 17 points on 7-of-11 shooting and adding five rebounds, which hints at a player who can heat up fast and punish defenses when he’s aggressive. The fit question: he looks like a versatile, physical contributor with scoring pop, not just a box-score filler.
