Ryan Ursery brings innings-eater stability to Arkansas State’s 2026 rotation
In the 2024 season at South Arkansas College, left-hander Ryan Ursery posted an 11-4 record with a 3.89 ERA, led all NJCAA Division II pitchers with 18 starts, and ranked 14th nationally with 83.1 innings pitched[1][2]. That kind of workload screams durability and confidence, and he also anchored a team that reached the region title and NJCAA World Series while starting both of South Arkansas’s first two no-hitters in program history[1][2]. For Arkansas State, he looks like a dependable strike-throwing fit with real weekend-start upside if you want a tough, seasoned lefty who can handle the ball and the moment.[1][2]
