Joseph Webb brings strike-throwing relief upside to ECU
In the 2025 season at Liberty, Joseph Webb worked as a high-leverage right-hander, posting a 3.50 ERA with 51 strikeouts and only 20 walks in 46.1 innings, then arrived at East Carolina after proving he can miss bats without giving away free baserunners.[3][2][8] His differentiators are command, swing-and-miss stuff, and relief reliability, with a season-high 9 strikeouts in a 5.2-inning outing and only one home run allowed; that profile fits a team looking for a dependable RHP who can steady the middle or back end of a bullpen.[2][8]
