Cameron Hergott brings EKU a versatile, gritty playmaker with dual-threat roots
Hergott’s current role at Eastern Kentucky is less about volume and more about versatility: in 2025 he logged 7 catches for 64 yards, and in 2024 he contributed as a passer, rusher, and primary holder while scoring his first collegiate touchdown. His background as a high-school dual-threat quarterback shows a player comfortable with pressure, competitive in big moments, and useful in gadget, special-teams, and flexible offensive packages. If you want a smart, adaptable depth piece who can add value in multiple ways, he’s a strong fit.
