Samford’s edge defender with proven sack production and a lean, disruptive frame
Andrew Jordan enters the 2026 season at Samford as a 6-foot-3, 240-pound senior defensive end with real pass-rush juice: in the 2024 season at Samford, he posted 38 tackles, 6.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries after logging 17 tackles and one sack in 2023. That profile says “playmaker,” not just “body on the edge,” and the fact that he’s already shown he can finish in the backfield makes him a strong fit for teams wanting an energetic, attack-minded DE who can create negative plays and bring veteran reliability.
