Ashton Zacher brings switch-hit pop, advanced on-base skills, and a strong arm behind the plate
In 2025 at College of Southern Nevada, Zacher hit .357 with a .457 on-base percentage, .530 slugging, 3 home runs, 35 RBIs, and 21 walks in 42 games, showing a well-rounded offensive profile for a catcher. Nevada also lists him as a sophomore who started 33 games and threw out 3 of 9 attempted base stealers, while recruiting notes describe him as a switch-hitter with power from both sides, plus defender, and soft hands. That combination makes him a good fit for a team wanting lineup impact and defensive reliability at a premium position.[1][3][2]
