Sergio El Darwich brings veteran point-guard calm, shot-making, and international polish
In the 2019-20 season at Maine, Sergio El Darwich averaged 14.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.2 assists while shooting .420 from the field and .850 at the line, a strong indicator of a guard who can create, rebound his position, and steady an offense[1][5]. His broader profile shows a long, experienced lead guard with size at 6-foot-4 and 205 pounds, plus proven playmaking for Lebanon in FIBA competition, where he has recently posted around 9.7 points and 3.0 assists per game in 2025 qualifiers[9]. The fit is easy to see: smart, physical, and composed, with enough offensive versatility to help a team that needs a mature organizer rather than just a rim-pressing scorer[11][12].
