Marshall INF Evelyn Henson brings high-contact offense, speed, and defensive versatility
Evelyn Henson looks like a useful multi-phase infielder for Marshall: recruiting profiles list her as a right-handed INF/secondary catcher with a 62 mph overhand throw, and her prep résumé shows impact production with a .460 career batting average, 59 career stolen bases, 46 RBIs in 2024, and prior conference awards on both the defensive and offensive side. That combination suggests a player who can help in the batter’s box, create pressure on the bases, and cover multiple spots competently, making her a strong fit for a team that values versatility and steady, competitive presence.
