MEAC's Athletic Scoring-Rebounding Machine from Coppin State
Koby Thomas, the explosive guard/forward for Coppin State, erupted in the 2020-21 season with 12.1 PPG (8th in MEAC), 6.2 RPG (5th), and 31 steals (7th) across 22 starts, shooting 44% from the field on elite athleticism that sets him apart as a high-motor slasher and defensive pest. Undrafted in 2021 after going pro overseas, his RMU roots highlight raw upside; no major injury flags, just pure intensity. Care? He's a gritty, versatile mid-major gem perfect for teams needing affordable scoring punch and rebounding tenacity off the bench.
