Sawyer Toney brings strikeout ability and bullpen reliability to North Alabama
Toney is a right-handed arm worth watching because he already showed real leverage-inning value in 2025, logging 20 relief appearances for North Alabama with 26.1 innings, 25 strikeouts, a 2-1 record, one save and a 4.44 ERA. His pitch profile suggests a competitive bullpen piece who can miss bats and handle multi-inning work, highlighted by a four-inning outing and a four-strikeout game. That combination makes him interesting for teams needing a durable, trusted pen option rather than just a pure flash stat line.
