Ava Lyons brings steady contact, RBI production, and a championship-tested bat to Cal Poly
Ava Lyons enters Cal Poly as a versatile catcher with a proven offensive track record, hitting .274 in 104 career high school games with 56 RBI and showing she can deliver in big moments, including a recent weekend where she went 10-for-14 (.714) while her team won a championship. Her value is not just the box score: reports and recruiting profiles point to a growth trajectory, competitive edge, and multi-position flexibility that can help a roster in more than one way. She looks like a strong fit for a program that wants reliable contact, run production, and a player who has already handled winning pressure.
