Jacksonville State’s Freshman-Turned-Playmaker at Linebacker
Mac Sanders emerged in the 2025 season as a disruptive, high-motor linebacker for Jacksonville State, finishing with 77 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, and a team-high impact profile that earned Freshman All-America recognition and All-Freshman honors. He brings real downhill pop, plays with urgency, and flashes the instincts to find the ball fast — the kind of tone-setter coaches love. At 6-foot-2, 225 pounds, he already looks like a fit for a defense that wants physicality, production, and a linebacker who can make offenses uncomfortable in space.
