Ellanie Yarrell gives South Carolina State a versatile, timely bat
In the 2026 season, Ellanie Yarrell has been a steady run-producer for South Carolina State, hitting .328 with 2 home runs, 22 RBI, and a .783 OPS, while also showing up in big moments for the Bulldogs. The freshman UTL from Byrnes High School brings a compact 5'4" frame, versatility, and a knack for clutch contact—she was repeatedly credited in team and conference recaps for sparking rallies and driving in runs. She looks like a good fit if you want a high-contact, competitive hitter who can help anywhere the lineup needs a spark.
