FGCU’s live-arm righty with mid-90s heat and upside
Hudson’s appeal is the arm talent: public scouting notes list a 6'2", 215-pound right-hander with a fastball sitting 92-94 mph and touching 95, plus a slider in the low-80s that gives him a real bat-missing path when he’s on. FGCU’s 2026 roster lists him as a freshman who redshirted and did not appear in games, so the on-field sample is still thin, but the raw stuff and projection are the selling points. For a staff that likes power arms with room to grow, he looks like a worthwhile upside play.
