Danika Nell is a high-upside, strikeout-capable lefty who already has big-game polish
Nell has shown she can miss bats and handle pressure for Boston University, posting an 8-1 record with a 2.88 ERA and 70 strikeouts in 82.2 innings in her breakout freshman season, then earning key wins in conference and postseason play. She works as a left-handed pitcher with a strong competitive edge, has already delivered complete-game shutouts and relief heroics, and was named to the Patriot League All-Tournament Team. Her injury-affected development year in 2026 suggests some volatility, but the upside, poise, and run-prevention profile make her a compelling fit for teams wanting a composed, battle-tested arm.[1][2][3][4][9]
