Braxton Bonds is Houston Christian’s steady, do-everything veteran guard
In the 2025-26 context, Braxton Bonds profiles as a crafty, high-IQ guard whose value goes beyond scoring: ESPN lists him at 9.4 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game, a stat line that fits a connector and stabilizer more than a pure bucket-hunter.[1] He’s the kind of player who can help a team with pace, decision-making, and toughness, and his older production at HCU showed real two-way juice—he once averaged 1.87 steals per game and has even appeared on the program’s historical stat-leader boards.[5][8] If a team wants a composed, glue-guy guard who can make others better and survive the grind, Bonds is a smart fit.[1][5]
