Caden Wildman keeps driving Cornell’s offense from the corner-outfield spot
Wildman enters 2026 as a senior, right-handed outfielder who’s turned into one of Cornell’s steadier run producers, coming off a 2025 season where he hit .282 with 3 home runs, 17 RBI, 9 steals, and a .380 OBP across 31 games. In 2024, he posted a .279 average with 5 homers, 23 RBI, and 7 steals, showing he can impact games in multiple ways. The appeal: a physical 6-foot-3, 219-pound bat with improving on-base skills, some speed, and enough defensive reliability to stay in the lineup almost every day. If a team wants a competitive, versatile, no-drama everyday corner outfielder, he fits the bill.
