Joseph Kim brings a strong academic profile and proven kicking range to Houston
In 2024, Joseph Kim showed early college-leg upside for Houston, going 2-for-4 on field goals and 4-for-5 on extra points, with makes from 43 and 44 yards at Oklahoma. He stands out as a technically reliable kicker with range beyond the short game, plus the kind of discipline and consistency coaches value off the field: he earned Academic All-Big 12 honors and made both the Fall and Spring Dean’s Lists. That profile fits a team looking for a steady, development-friendly specialist with upside.
