Katie Knarr is a steady, high-contact, high-impact infield bat for Rhode Island
Knarr broke out as a freshman for Rhode Island in 2025, leading the Rams in batting average (.309), hits (47), RBI (27), putouts (246) and fielding percentage (.992) while earning Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team honors and a late-season Rookie of the Week nod.[2][3][4] What makes her more than a stat line is the blend of consistency and reliability: she started 46 of 47 games, handled first-base duties cleanly, and showed she can produce in bunches, including a five-game stretch where she hit .471. She looks like a dependable, winning-piece infielder with upside as her bat matures.[2][3][4]
