Quez Yates brings NFL-sized power and movement at UAB
Quez Yates is a 6-foot-5, 320-pound offensive lineman whose calling card is raw power: UAB’s staff described him as having “extremely long” arms, “great hands,” and “heavy hands,” and said that once he lands his hands, “it’s over.” In UAB’s 2025 Pro Day, he led the team with 21 bench reps and posted a 5.27-second 40, showing uncommon strength and athleticism for his size. He appears best suited for a team that wants a physical, technically coachable lineman with starter-level upside.
