Sierra Albright brings live arm, early-inning grit, and freshman upside to FDU's circle
In the 2026 season, Fairleigh Dickinson pitcher Sierra Albright worked as a freshman starter, making 7 starts and logging 51.1 innings for the Knights while showing enough confidence to stay in the mix as a rotation piece[8]. Her stat line—7.50 ERA with 14 strikeouts—suggests she was still getting adjusted at the Division I level, but her recruiting profile listed a strong right-handed fastball and changeup, which fits a pitcher with real development runway[2][10]. The bigger takeaway: she looks like a competitive, durable arm with upside, especially for a staff willing to invest in a young pitcher who already has college innings under her belt[7][8].
