Athletic 6-3 outfield depth piece with upside still waiting to pop
In the 2026 season, Northwestern lists Masai Marshall as a 6-3, 190-pound sophomore outfielder, but he has been used sparingly so far, appearing in just three games and making his collegiate debut against No. 25 USC on March 13, 2026[1][2]. He was a top-12 outfielder in New York coming out of Poly Prep and projects as a depth option with another year of experience to build on[4]. If you like long-term athletic upside over instant-star production, he’s the kind of player who could quietly grow into a useful fit.
