a low-usage Cornell outfielder with almost no college data to judge yet
In the 2023 season, Matthew Walters appeared in just two games for Cornell and did not record a hit in three plate appearances, and Cornell’s roster notes show no game action in 2024 or 2025 before listing him as a 2026 senior outfielder[2]. The upside case is projection rather than production: at 5'11" and 202 pounds on Cornell’s roster, he brings a sturdier frame than a pure speed-only defender, but there is not enough verified college output to credibly label a current statistical strength or ranking[2].
